Everything Old is New Again – Art @ WLAC Featuring Dan Cytron

unnamed-1Dan Cytron, recently featured in the film “One Artist’s POV” by Sally Geti, will be the solo artist in the West Los Angeles College gallery show “Everything Old is New Again,” curated by Molly Barnes. The show runs from January 2 through January 31, 2017. A reception open to the public will be held in the gallery on Thursday, January 5 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Parking is available in the adjacent S. Parking Structure for $2.00. Exact change is needed.

Cytron, a talented abstract painter, is a past recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship grant and has exhibited widely throughout California and across the country. He has been a guest lecturer for UCLA and UCSB and served as a guest curator for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. His reviews have appeared in Los Angeles Magazine, Artweek and the LA Times, among others.

The exhibit is curated by art dealer, curator and radio personality Molly Barnes. Barnes is currently an artist in residence at West. In addition to sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge with the college’s aspiring artists, she coordinates free exhibits and lectures which are open to the public.

West Los Angeles College is located at 9000 Overland Avenue, north of the Westfield Mall, in Culver City, CA 90230.
