Culver City will be hosting it’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Culver City Senior Center, 4095 Overland Ave., Culver City, CA 90230. Using the theme of ‘Peaceful Warriors for Positive Change’ the event will feature an Interfaith Conversation with Local members of the Culver City Area Interfaith Alliance, a Film Screening “King: Man of Peace in a Time of War ,” an opportunity for Youth to Speak – Culver City High School Black Student Union Club and CCARP Students as well as Actor Gerald Rivers portraying the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
