Actor’s Gang Free Middle School Program – Sign Up Now

kids3The Actors’ Gang is excited to invite 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in CCUSD to join our FREE! Winter Middle School After-School Program 2017. This unique experience will offer instruction and guidance in The Actors’ Gang signature theatre style, based in Commedia dell’Arte.

The focus of the Middle School After-School Program is to empower students to develop their own creative voices and artistic expression, through improvisational exercises, ensemble building, character development, and theatre games. The students will create their own village inspired by the Commedia characters.

The ten week journey begins Wednesday, January 4th. The ensemble of students will meet every Wednesday from 2:30pm-5:00pm at The Actors’ Gang space, The Ivy Substation. Parents and guardians must be responsible for transportation to and from the theatre for the duration of the program. The program will end with an original play performed for family, friends, and the community on March 11 & 12 (Saturday and Sunday).
