Screenland 5K Stretches Young Runners

Almost 50 runners and walkers meet at Culver High every Sunday for an hour at 4 pm with professional triathlete Kirsten Bell, New York Marathon champion Rod Dixon, Culver City Running Club leaders, guest instructors and a massage therapist to train for the Academy Awards Sunday event, Feb. 26, 9 am, sponsored by the City of Culver City. The children are participating in Dixon’s free Kid’s Marathon program where “Finishing is winning and winning is finishing.” Race information is at www.Screenland5K.com.
