La Ballona Elementary School is in need of Culver City volunteers for Young Storytellers! Can you spare a little time to help 5th graders write scripts that actors then perform? The program meets on Tuesdays from 1-2 pm at La Ballona Elementary beginning October 4, with the Big Show on November 22.
Young Storytellers engages creativity through the art of storytelling. Using the timeless techniques of mentoring, collaboration, and performance, they provide public school students with an opportunity to write stories and see them brought to life on stage and film. It’s a great, young, fun thing!
