Busy Nov. 8th? Paid Volunteers Needed as Pollworkers

poll workerVolunteers are needed to staff polling places on Nov. 8, a critical job that pays between $105 and $175 for Election Day and pre-election training. Volunteers typically work 14 to 15 hours on Election Day. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Most volunteers work close to home, and communities appreciate the people who put int the time to take care of democracy.

Pollworkers are required to arrive between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. to prepare materials. Closing the polls and related duties take about an hour, according to information provided to potential volunteers at lavote.net. or click the ad on the right side of this page.
