‘Shrek the Musical’ Opens Tonight at Vets

Shrek The Musical Cadillac Palace Theatre

What’s better than a musical fairy tale? A really funny musical fairy tale, that’s what! July 14, 2016 – Tonight – at Vets Auditorium you can laugh out loud with the cast of Shrek the Musical (Jr.) from Dee-Lightful Productions. Your favorite ogre will be saving the princess, while your favorite donkey matches wits with a dragon, and all of your favorite fairy tale folks – the Gingerbread Man, Pinocchio, the Three Bears, the Big Bad Wolf and lots more – will be singing and dancing their way through the swamp, and the perfect city of Dulac. Sure, the movie was good, but the musical is Faaaab-ulous! And no one does it better than the kids of Dee-Lightful, making magic on stage for 19 years with Culver City’s Parks and Recreation Dept.

Shrek The Musical (Jr.) from Dee-Lightful Productions, 4117 Overland Ave. free parking, all tickets $10 on sale at the door.  Performances July 14, 15 and 16, evening shows at 7 pm with a Saturday matinee at 3 pm.

  1. Lots of talented Culver City kids perform in Dee-Lightful Productions. We are going Friday to see the incomparable Izzy Parra playing Shrek. Can’t wait to see what she looks like green. Roles rotate among similarly talented performers.
