Join Antioch University’s Colors LGBTQ Youth Counseling Center’s Spring Garden Party Fundraiser for a lovely afternoon on May 14, 2016.
The private location will offer Hors D’oeuvres catered by Clementine Foods, a wonderful wine selection donated by Girl Meets Grape and live music with local band Joshua Payne Orchestra.
Colors LGBTQ Youth Counseling Center provides free LGBTQ-affirmative counseling and psychotherapy services to youth under 25 and their families in the greater Los Angeles area. Our counseling is about healing from the pressure to fit in, and in so doing discover the gift of being an LGBTQ youth, to love, to create, and to become your true self. We also work at the same time to educate our youth about their culture, history, and long-lost potential.
Colors counselors are trained by the Antioch University LGBT Specialization; they learn how to face their own internalized oppression as part of their training to help LGBTQ and allied people grow into greater psychological strength.

This is a new kind of proactive, engaged, healing, affirmative counseling for youth that is about LGBTQ empowerment, education, and freedom in finding one’s True Colors in the spectrum of the Rainbow.
