Dear Editor – Wyant Understands the Issues

Light-bulb-0003-300x198Last month I attended the Candidate Forum at City Hall where all 7 candidates running for Culver City Council had the opportunity to speak about various issues. Although all of the candidates seemed like very nice people, when it came to answering the questions posed, candidate SCOTT WYANT stood head and shoulders above the rest.

I was impressed by MR. WYANT’S knowledge of all of the issues raised as well as his ideas for improving our daily life in Culver City. From what I perceived, MR. WYANT is the only candidate (besides the incumbent) who has actually taken the time over the past several years to speak directly with local residents, city employees, small business owners, and local government officials, in order to understand their perspectives and concerns about our city. I was particularly impressed by what MR. WYANT had to say about improving our local public transportation, “mansionization”, sustainability, and fracking.

Culver City is a wonderful city to live in, and we need the most qualified and dedicated councilmembers to maintain our great city and help make improvements where needed. I believe that SCOTT WYANT can immediately become a viable member of our City Council on day one, given his prior experience, his thorough understanding of the issues, his demonstrated willingness to put in the necessary time and hard work, and his workable ideas and knowledge of how to put those ideas into action. For these reasons, I will be voting for SCOTT WYANT on Tuesday, April 12th.
