On Friday, February 20 from 3 to 4:30 p.m., bring your bike, skateboard or scooter to Panther Plaza at Culver City Middle School, and let techs from Chubby’s Bikes, the Vault and Tender Loving Cycles tune it up and make sure they are ready to roll. One of the barriers to students biking, skating or scooting to school is having a machine that isn’t working properly and not knowing where to have repairs done, and/or possibly not being able to afford the work. The Bike-Scoot Fix It Day will introduce students and families to local shops providing a service to teach repairs as well as building connections to resources for future repair work.
