October 1 is the bi-annual Sustainable Supper at Antioch University where you can enjoy a vegan meal and hear guest speaker Dayaneni Gopal of the Ecology Project. Dinner is at 6pm, and the presentation will begin at 6:30pm in Room a1000 at 400 Corporate Pointe in Culver City, parking available on Uplander and Hannum.
Gopal has been involved in fighting for social, economic, environmental and racial justice through organizing & campaigning, teaching, writing, speaking and direct action since the late 1980’s. He currently serves on the staff of the Movement Generation Justice and Ecology Project, which works to bring a strategic understanding of ecological crisis and transition to racial and economic justice organizers. Gopal works at the intersections of war, corporate globalization, global ecology, environmental justice.
