The Office of State Controller John Chiang, in partnership with the Office of Assemblymember Reginald Jones-Sawyer, is hosting a free tax preparation event this Thursday for families and individuals that earned a household income of $50,000 or less in 2011. Free help is available in English, Chinese and Spanish from certified volunteer tax preparers.
