LOCALmotion – Jozelle Smith

It was an especially boisterous crowd that turned out at Boulevard Music’s Open Mic Night on last Sunday. Who were all those noisy folks? The crowd was overrun with Culver-Palms Family YMCA members there to cheer on Mallory Lowe, who has worked as a Fitness Counselor for the Y for nearly seven years. Mallory, who has many music and TV credits to her name, performed three numbers to whistles and cheers from her family, friends, and Y fitness addicts. Owner Gary Mandel had a good idea when he opined that she’d be good at marketing Boulevard’s events!
