Crime Blotter – Theft and Vandalism

Crime Blotter for March 5th through the 11th.

Vandalism and Theft:
On March 6, 2013 at 4:30 am, officers responded to the 5600 block of Windsor Way regarding a vandalism investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said he noticed the power go off in his residence at 1:06 am. He went to check on the building and discovered the front lobby camera missing.
Vandalism:
On March 8, 2013 at 12:20 pm, a victim came to the police department to report her 1990 Chevy Tahoe had been vandalized. The victim said since November 2012 and March 8, 2013 her vehicle had been vandalized several times. The victim says she parked and locked her vehicle in the 5600 block of Kinston Avenue.
Car Burglary:
On March 9, 2013 at 5:15 pm, a victim came to the police department to report her 2000 Nissan was burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her vehicle in the 4100 block of Vinton Avenue at 3:45 pm. When she returned at 4:45 pm she discovered her property missing and pry marks on the driver door.
Assault:
On March 11, 2013 at 4:30 pm, a victim came to the police department to report she was a victim of a battery. The victim aid she was at work in the 3900 block of Landmark Street when the suspect approached her and pushed her on the back and walked away.
Residential Burglary:
On March 11, 2013 at 9:20 pm officers responded to the 4000 block of Grandview Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he and a roommate left the location at 6:30 pm. When they returned at 11:30 pm they discovered his property missing. The victim said he may have left the rear door unlocked.
