The Culver City Education Foundation is pleased to announce the following grant awards funding nine CCUSD projects- three at our elementary schools, three at the Middle School, and three at the High School.
Districtwide 5th Grade Revolutionary War Adventure Field Trip
6th grade Earth Science Creating 3D Models from 2D Topographic Maps at CCMS
CCMS students meet animals from the Wildlife Learning Center
New anti-bullying books and Spanish language books for the library at La Ballona
Increasing Independent Studying for Special Education students at CCMS by providing two new computers and an HP Printer
Trout in the classroom for 3rd grade at Lin Howe
Technology Upgrade for CCHS Science class: lap top, cart and security cable
Human Relations Ambassadors Project for CCHS students including a field trip/workshop and retreat
Upfront and Choices Magazine subscriptions for 9th Grade English classes at CCHS
The total funding for this first of three grant application periods in the current school year is over $13,300. Our thanks to all supporters for their donations. It is those donations that enable CCEF to achieve its mission of bringing additional money to our schools for projects, programs, activities, books and equipment that enrich our students.
