Crime Blotter – Cyclist vs. BMW

Crime Blotter for July 2rd through July 9th.
Attempt Street Robbery:
On July 2, 2012 at 9:45 am, officers responded to the 6200 block of Bristol Parkway regarding an attempt robbery. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she was sitting her car when she was approached by a female suspect. The suspect told her to look here and when she did she saw a handgun in her waistband. The victim then began yelling and the suspect turned around and walked away.
The suspect was described as a female Black, 25 years, thin build, and wearing jeans.
Commercial Burglary:
On July 2, 2012 at 3:45 pm, officers responded to the 11100 block of Overland Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; he noticed a broken window and when he checked the interior of the location discovered property was missing,
Residential Burglary:
On July 3, 2012 at 8:35 pm, officers responded to the 10800 block of Galvin Street regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she left at 5:50 am and her residence was locked and secured. She returned at 8:20 pm and discovered her back door opened and her property missing.
Stolen Vehicle:
On July 5, 2012 at 5:50 pm, officers responded to the 5700 block of Buckingham Parkway regarding a GTA investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said an employee parked and locked a 2000 Ford van on July 3, 2012 at 1:00 pm. When he returned on July 5th at 8:00 am, he noticed the van missing,
Vandalism:
On July 7, 2012 at 1:20 pm, a victim called the police department to report her 2011 BMW had been vandalized. The victim said she was in the 13400 block of Washington Boulevard when a suspect threw a metal object at her car. The object struck her car causing a small dent in the body. The suspect was described as a white male riding a bicycle.
