Crime Blotter for May 15th through May 21st.
Car Burglary:
On May 14, 2012 at 5:30 pm, a victim called the police department to report his 2011 Lexus had been burglarized. The victim said he parked and locked his vehicle near the intersection of Hetzler Road and Jefferson Boulevard at 5:15 pm. When she returned a few minutes later, she discovered the passenger front window had been smashed and her property missing.
Residential Burglary:
On May 18, 2012 at 5:00 pm officers responded to the 6200 block of Bristol Parkway regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she locked and secured her residence at 9:25 am. When she returned at 4:30 pm she discovered her front door had been forced open and her property missing.
Street Robbery:
On May 18, 2012 at 11:00 pm, officers responded to the area of Washington Boulevard and Prospect Avenue regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victims who told them the following; they were walking on Prospect Avenue when they were approached by 2 male suspects. Suspect 1 produced a handgun and demanded their property. Fearing for their safety both victims gave the suspects their property. The suspects then fled the area.
The suspects were described as a male Black, 16-20 years of age, 5’5 to 5’8, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. Suspect 2 was described as a male Hispanic, 16-20 years of age, 5”5 to 5”7, slim build and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
On May 20, 2012 at 2:40 pm, a victim called the police department to report her 2002 Mercedes Benz’s windshield had been cracked. The victim said she had parked her car the night before and when she returned at 2:30 pm, noticed the damage to her car.
Stolen Car:
On May 20, 2012 at 8:02 pm, a victim called the police department to report his 2001 Saturn was stolen. The victim said he had left his vehicle for repair in the 10700 block of Jefferson Boulevard on May 19, 2012. When he returned on the 20th his car was missing.
