Congratulations to Katie Malich for taking Third Place at the Eat Real Festival canning competition for her French Green Tomato Pickles. She will be sharing her inspiration and her recipe with us tomorrow in her Fresh From the Farm column. I can personally attest to the tastiness of these charmingly sour treats, and will be looking forward to finding out how to make them. Hurray for homegrown food!
