Crime Blotter – Suspects at Large

Car Burglary:
On April 12, 2011 at 12:20 pm a victim called the station to report her 2008 GMC Yukon had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her vehicle in the 600 block of Corporate Point on April 12th at 9:00 am. She returned at 12:20 pm and discovered her driver’s door open and her property missing.

Commercial Burglary:
On April 12, 2011 at 1:45 pm, officers responded to the 5700 block of Buckingham Parkway regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the owner of the business who told them the following; he said on April 10, 2011 at 8:52 am, two male black suspects entered the location through the front doors and proceeded up a set of stairs to a lobby area and removed some property from a desk. The suspects then walked back downstairs and entered another office and removed property from that location. The suspects then fled.

Stolen Vehicle:
On April 14, 2011 at 2:05 pm, officers responded to the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a GTA investigation. The officers met with the victim, who told them the following; he parked and locked his 2003 Chevy Tahoe at 12:30 pm and when he returned at 1:30 pm, his vehicle was missing.

Street Robbery:
On April 17, 2011 at 10:10 pm, officers responded to the area of Buckingham Parkway and Sumner Way regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he and a friend were walking near the Fox Hills Park when they were approached by a male black, 5’8, wearing a blue baseball hat, khaki shorts, and a short sleeve shirt. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet. The suspect then fled the area.

Street Robbery:

On April 17, 2011 at 10:00 pm, officers responded to the 6000 block of Centinela Avenue regarding a robbery investigation. The officers with the 2 victims who told them the following; they were walking on Centinela Avenue just under the 405 freeway when they were approached by to male suspects who stopped them and demanded their property. Suspect 1 then struck one of the victims and took his wallet and both suspects fled the location. Suspect 1 was described a male black, 18-20 years old, 5’8 to 5’9, thin build and short hair. Suspect 2 was described as a male black, 18-20 years old, and 5’6 to 5’7, thin build, and short dark hair.
