Wednesday, April 13 at 3:30 pm come and join Culver City resident and author illustrator C. G. Rawles for a special talk and reading of her children’s book, “Same Difference”. “This debut children’s book celebrates self-awareness and diversity within the African American culture.” The author, who is a former artist-in-residence of Spelman College, will also explain the educational and career path to becoming an author illustrator and will answer questions. Her original artwork will also be presented. A poetry reading and related creative art activity follow. There will also be a book giveaway while supplies last!
