The District Advisory Committee will present special education teacher, inclusion facilitator and speech therapist Carol Mitchell, M.S., who will discuss “Taking the Struggle Out of Homework” at 6 p.m. on March 10 in the CCUSD District Office Board Room, 4034 Irving Place.
The District Advisory Committee (DAC) is composed primarily of school personnel, parents of individuals with exceptional needs and persons concerned with the needs of individuals with exceptional needs within the Culver City Unified School District.
The priorities to be addressed by the committee are parent education & awareness, fostering communication between parents and district personnel, and supporting activities on behalf of individuals with exceptional needs.
