Rotary Grants CCEF Tech Funding

A technology grant has been awarded to Culver City Education Foundation (CCEF) for the amount of $27,946 to purchase Epson Brightlink Interactive Projectors, and Learner Response Systems (clickers). One complete set will be given to one 5th grade class in all 5 Culver City Unified School District (CCUSD) elementary schools and one set of clickers will go to the CCHS Social Studies Department. This grant was a collaborative effort with Rotary Club of Culver City, Rotary Club of Kaizuka Japan, Rotary Club of Manningham Australia and Rotary District 9810, Australia and CCEF. This grant and check was presented at the Rotary Club of Culver City Annual Holiday Luncheon at American Legion Hall and at the CCUSD Board meeting on Tuesday December 14th.

The technology will be in place after the first of the year with a demonstration of its use in a classroom to show the donors how the equipment enhances the learning experience for the 5th graders. Thanks Rotary!
