Flu season is coming, and learning the facts can help you stay in health. Max Lebow, M.D., will discuss what you need to know on Wednesday, October 13, 10:00 a.m. at the Culver-Palms Family YMCA. Dr. Lebow will explain how to distinguish among the symptoms of a virus, flu, cold and bacteria, and will offer guidelines in deciding whether to call the doctor, visit an Urgent Care, or head for the Emergency Room. The event is free and open to the community.
Starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Y before Dr. Lebow’s lecture, a Flu Clinic sponsored by Prospect Medical Group will offer free flu shots to the first 100 Active Older Adults 55 years of age and above.
