Karen Bass, Speaker Emeritus of the California Assembly, and our 47th Assembly member will be at breakfast with the Culver City Chamber of Commerce to discuss state issues facing the legislature, business community and the state. Assemblymember Bass is completing her third term in the assembly and is a candidate for the 32nd Congressional District replacing retiring Diane Watson.
The event will be Oct. 1 at 7:30 t The Courtyard by Marriott, located at 6333 Bristol Parkway will be the next “Issues & Eggs Breakfast” with one of our elected state representatives. Ms. Bass served two years as the Speaker of the Assembly during some of the most difficult financial times in the recent history of the state of California.
