Today, Tuesday, July 6, there will be a fundraiser for the family of California Highway Patrol Officer Philip Ortiz, a 28 year veteran officer who was tragically killed last month during a traffic stop on the 405. From 5 p.m. till closing, CHP officers will be at the BJ’s Restaurant at the Culver City Westfield Mall handing out flyers that will allow you to donate 15% of your dining tab to Officer Ortiz’s memorial Fund.
