Downtown Block Party Tonight by Mary McGrath

Culver City has developed swanky restaurant scene over the past few years, and what better way to sample what our fair city has to offer by indulging in Culver City’s series of block parties?

The Culver City Downtown Business Association and over two-dozen local restaurants and businesses will have a three-hour party from 5 to 8 p.m. The festivities kick-off on Wednesday, June 16th (that’s tonight!) and will repeat the third Wednesday of every month until October.

Here are some of the happenings:

Ford’s Filling Station-Clam bake with a live band from 5:30 to 10:30.

Bottlerock -$4 specials

Cold Stone Creamery-Complimentary sampling of ice cream, cookies and/or cupcakes

Fraiche -Free sangria

Le Saint Amour -Live Caribbean music and a free kir royale with your entrée

LUNCH- $2 beers and mini sandwiches

Gyenari-All night happy hour

M Café-Free wine tasting

Novecento-Complimentary side salad with purchase of entree

Rush Street-Free pole dancing.

Ugo- Sample gelato, fresh fruit granita, wine samples and appetizers

For those of you who have never been to Culver City, this is the perfect time to indulge your senses. The international roster of restaurants will satiate any palate.

Many stores and galleries will open their doors as well with discounts, and special offers.
