While rumors have been afloat for days that former Chief Financial Officer for Culver City, Jeff Muir was on his way back to his desk at City Hall, it was still just a rumor. Today, Mayor Andy Weissman confirmed that Muir will be returning to his previous post on April 26.
While his departure was brief, it will be intriguing to see if wooing Muir back to the desk involved an increase in his paycheck. Isn’t that something the CFO would say we can’t afford right now? With the City of Inglewood in such total disarray at the moment, Muir probably will be happy to settle back into his familiar office and unpack his boxes.
