Dear Editor,
As a Culver City enthusiast, and as a mother choosing to raise children here, I care deeply about preserving the character of this community and making the right choices in difficult times. I want to be represented on the City Council by someone who will work tirelessly and thoughtfully to tackle the issues of today and tomorrow. I want a representative who is open-minded and fair-minded. I want a representative who cares about the residents of the city. And I want a representative who will protect green spaces and expand green initiatives. I believe Jeff Cooper is that representative.
Jeff has been serving this community as a leader and a volunteer for many years, including a 10-year stint on the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Commission. Since I am active on parks issues, I have particularly come to recognize his dedication and leadership in that area. Jeff also has a combination of savvy and personal skills that will allow him to come up with good ideas and work within the council body to bring them to fruition.
I already call Jeff my neighbor and friend. I urge you to join me in voting for Jeff so that we all may call him Councilman and call upon him as our representative.
