Dear Editor:
As a former Mayor of Culver City, I understand the complexities of performing the duties of a City Council Member. The diverse and complex issues that come before the Council must be dispatched with both forthrightness and compassion. I am voting for Jeff Cooper for City Council on April 13.
Any city council candidate I vote for must have experience and be willing to make “Solomon-like” decisions. During the difficult financial times we are all struggling with now a member of the council has to work with all constituencies to ensure the financial stability of the city while at the same time protecting the community’s needs. A council candidate I vote for must ensure that our public safety is protected. A council candidate I vote for must be multifaceted and have broad city appeal. I am confident that Jeff Cooper is that candidate.
I know Jeff Cooper to be a hard working and dedicated person. Join with me in voting for Jeff Cooper for City Council on April 13.
