“Dear John” Special Movie Screening

Sony Pictures Entertainment is hosting the Culver City Chamber of Commerce at a special movie screening of “Dear John” on Wednesday, Feb. 10 in the Jimmy Stewart Screening Room, Sony Pictures Studio, 10202 W Washington Blvd, entrance/parking at the Overland Gate. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:30 p.m.

When a soldier named John Tyree (Channing Tatum) meets an idealistic college student named Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried), it’s the beginning of a true romance. Over the next seven tumultuous years, the lovers, separated by John’s increasingly dangerous deployment, stay in touch through their letters, meeting in person only rarely. However, their correspondence triggers fateful consequences that neither could foresee.

Tickets for this event will cost $17 each and will allow ticket holders an opportunity to receive discounts for dinner and dessert at local Chamber member restaurants. Tickets must be paid for in advance.

Tickets are available only through the Chamber office, located at 4249 Overland Ave. and by phone at (310) 287-3850. Payment is due with reservation.
